Rock Star For Real: David Bowie Gets His Own Star Constellation

Belgian astronomers have decided to pay homage to the deceased rocker by registering a constellation in his name. The 7 stars located somewhere around mars are noted for their depiction of a lightning bolt which is one of Bowie’s most associated icons depicted in his role as Ziggy Stardust on the album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars and the 1973 album Aladdin Sane.
The seven stars: Sigma Librae, Spica, Alpha Virginis, Zeta Centauri, SAA 204 132, and the Beta Sigma Octantis Trianguli Australis.
