Not having been able to bless the stage in an NYC venue since his 2016 shooting incident that left his friend dead and Taxtone and himself facing a slew of serious charges, Troy ave was looking forward to his show at the Highline Ballroom. Unfortunately though, the NY police dept had other plans as they shut down the artists show and left Troy Ave fuming at the disappointment of not being able to push his current project, “More Money More Problems”, to his NYC fans. Troy took to instagram to express himself and even sat down with Rapradar to go in depth, as much as possible, about his current situation stemming from the Irving Plaza shooting and allegations of him being a snitch.
